Shu Uemura Black Slant False Eyelashes

Just a quick review! I recently bought a pair of shu uemura falsies !! I was so excited because I've never tried them before and everyone's heard of the hype about their quality and comfort!

here is a comparison with and without:

It looks really thick on this angle but it's actually quite natural in real life. My friends couldn't even tell I was wearing falsies or they questioned are you really? because your lashes look really pretty!

Front shot: pretty natural looking!

Overall! I think that they are the best lashes I've ever tried but in terms of durability I found that they dont hold up well after one wear. Or maybe I was too rough when I was cleaning them but one of them has already died after I put it on for the second time!.. Im so disappointed!... haha I need to be more gentle when Im cleaning them!

BUT, I will definitely stock up when Im in Hong Kong because $42AUD for one pair is ridiculously expensive!

ZARA

I tried on some clothes after work at ZARA because I was waiting for my friends to come to the city so we could go to the noodle night market (all the popular asian restaurants set up stalls here and sell their food to promote asian food & culture)!!!

I tried on 2 blazers and they fit really well surprisingly! Nearly all blazers I try on don't fit nicely but ZARAs blazers are tailored very well

Pink blazer - it looks really nice but I don't see myself wearing it very often =(
Navy blazer - I ended up buying this one because I can match it with more clothes but it looks better unbuttoned =p.

The noodle night market happens once a year for 2 weeks and it's part of sydney's crave food festival. So once a year we celebrate food hahaha... strange huh? here are some pictures:

It was so packed this year because it was a Friday night! When my friends arrived, they didn't really want to stay because of the amount of people! =( oh well

Anyways, we ended up walking all the way to Surry Hills to eat dinner at House Thai! It's a very different thai because they isn't the usual pad thai or pad se ew! There were absolutely no noodle dishes but instead kind of like chinese food where you order a dish and eat it with rice. The reason why we went there was because of the dessert called BTS short for better than sex hahaha... it's got pandan ice cream on top of a thick slice of french toast!! it was sooo yummy.

to die for hehehe :)

that's all !

Le Blanc De Chanel & Perfection Lumiere swatches and review

Hi guys, i'm back again to review another product I bought this week!

I picked up the Le Blanc De Chanel Sheer Illuminating Primer when I was on my lunch break.

Product description: Ingenious multi-tasking fluid 'primes' skin perfectly for makeup, while adding subtle contours and radiance to the face. A unique blend of powders reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines for smooth, even, flawless finish.

I apply this before I put on my foundation for a more radiant glow! Since summer is coming up soon I want to brighten up my dull complexion!

Here are some swatches:
That's how it looks fully blended out! It gives a very SUBTLE shimmer but if worn alone it makes my skin look really healthy and glowly! So I highly recommend this primer.

Next up are some watches of Perfection Lumiere in B20 (I ended up going back to David Jones to exchange the colour because if I layered on more of B30, it looked really orangey and dark on my skin ? must be oxidising?? not sure)
How it looks freshly pumped out of the bottle
Blended out a little bit (the consistency is very runny!)
Fully blended out! (FYI,my hands are darker than my face)

Overall it had a great staying power but my nose still got a little oily around midday! But I personally still prefer the Vitalumiere Aqua for everyday over the Perfection Lumiere. It just feels lighter and blends more easily.

First post: Review of Chanel Perfection Lumiere

Hi guys, I've decided to start a makeup and skincare blog after quietly reading others amazing blogs.

Ok well, my first review is the newly released Chanel Perfection Lumiere.

Product description: Effortless to apply, with seamless blendability for a naturally flawless effect, this breakthrough foundation is the ideal all-day, everyday formula – suitable for all skin types in a diverse range of 20 shades

Just some background information, I am currently using Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B20. All I can say is that the B20 in the Perfection lumiere is slightly lighter than Vitalumiere's B20. I got the B30 and it suits perfectly with my skin.

It glides on effortlessly like the vitalamiere aqua but its not as smooth on the application! The Perfection lumiere is supposed to be for people with more oily skin because the formula turns from liquid to powder so it has a pretty matt finish. Whereas the vitalumiere had a more dewy/fresh finish.

Here is a close up picture of B30 on my face after setting for 1 hour:

As you can see it has a smooth finish but the one complaint I have about this foundation is when it sets to powder you can see the foundation in my pores as little dots in my pores.. not sure if that's because it didn't blend it properly! But I will definitely give it a few more days of testing before I decide whether this is better than the vitalumiere aqua.
